NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes’ Passion Project Helps Children Dream Bigger & Better

The 28-year-old QB for the Kansas City Chiefs is a superstar on and off the field. Patrick Mahomes‘ on-field exploits are well known to NFL fans. But off the field, Mahomes along with his wife Brittany have a project which aims to bring out the best in children.

The Mahomes power couple heads a charitable organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children. Established in 2019, the organization has been making a real difference in the communities and spearheading a movement of change.

Mahomes has made the number 15 synonymous with him as he adorns it on the field. Hence, his organization is named ‘15 and the Mahomies’. His organization aims to support initiatives that focus on health, wellness, communities in need of resources, and other charitable causes. And the couple has made big strides towards achieving the goals of the foundation.

Earlier this year, the foundation made a $1.625 million donation and a multi-year commitment to support ‘Boys & Girls Clubs of America’. It was a momentous occasion for the couple, who have a couple of kids of their own and the QB voiced his support as well.

2X Super Bowl winner said, “Kids who attend a Boys & Girls Club, like Brittany once did, are provided with the necessary tools and resources to help this generation not only thrive but lead with compassion and purpose”. Mahomes’ passion project is fuelled by his exploits on the field and soon he will be facing off against a familiar foe.

The big game is almost here

In February of this year, the Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 34-31 to claim the Super Bowl. It was Mahomes’ second title, and it’s no secret that he is on the hunt for the 3rd one. But the game against the Eagles will be one of their biggest tests before the playoffs.

The Chiefs are 7-2 in the regular season, but their scoring has taken a dip this year. Mahomes and Co. will need to step up their game if they want to dispose of the Eagles (8-1). With Jalen Hurts looking for revenge, the Eagles will be tough to cage this season.
