Davante Adams has been the talk of the town ever since the Raiders announced they wanted to trade the receiver. Teams have lined up to add him. He brings years of experience to the locker room. But which team will he end up with? It remains a mystery.

Adam Schefter appeared on a recent episode of ESPN’s Get Up show and claimed that the Raiders might have to lower their demand for 2nd round draft pick in 2025 if they want to trade the receiver. Ex-NFLer Dan Orlovsky responded by saying, “This is the easiest decision in the NFL so far. If it is going to take a 3rd or 4th round pick from Jets for Davante Adams, they should do it. This is the easiest decision that Joe Douglas had as a general manager.” These comments came after Bill Belichick told the team to lower their expectations.

During the recent appearance on the Underdog podcast, the legendary coach numbered a few reasons about why Raiders’ demand is absurd. The prime factor is that if any team gives up the 2nd round pick for the receiver, they would also have to manage his big salary with the team. Adams currently has a 5-year $141.25 million deal with the Raiders. However, there are many other teams who want to try their luck.

New Orleans Saints also want to sign Davante Adams. Their drive to add him got stronger when the WR said that he wanted to join a team where he had players known to him. Buffalo Bills, too, want to add him as a move to bolster their offense. The front-runner is the Jets.

Amid all these, Pittsburgh Steelers are coming up with unique pitches for the receiver.
