Rumors of Williams returning to the team became stronger when ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Williams is playing against the Jaguars.

The presence of Williams in the team could have provided a significant boost to the 49ers, as they have lost their last two games in the absence of Williams. His absence has caused a lot of damage to the 49ers and it is evident from the fact that their average yards per play dropped to 3.9. One reason Williams did not play in this game might be that he is not 100 percent fit, and returning to the field in this condition could have had a long-term impact on his health.

The 49ers, who had continuously won five games earlier, lost 2 games in a row after the exit of Williams. Currently, they stand at 5-3 in the league. However, despite the absence of Williams, the 49ers are currently dominating the game. At the end of the first half, the 49ers are significantly ahead of the Jaguars with a score of 13-3.
