The Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals are set to face each other in a Week 17 matchup at Lincoln Financial Field at 1 p.m. ET! Both teams are vying for a spot in their NFL titles. However, the Cardinals appeared unlucky this season, as they suffered a double-digit loss (3-12). Christmas brings heartbreak to the team, as they lost 27-16 to the Chicago Bears. After facing consecutive upsets in five consecutive matchups, it seems another bad news is looming in their attempt to win.

The Philadelphia Eagles secured the first spot in the NFC East and a safe playoff berth. Moreover, the squad came up with flying colors this Christmas against the New York Giants with a 33-25 win, paving their way to the playoffs. As the season approaches Week 17, both teams get a shocker as their major players, Darius Slay and Kyler Murray, are ruled out of the lineup. Eagles cornerback Darius Slay is out of Week 17 because of his knee injury. He recently underwent arthroscopic surgery. But the recent list stated that the CB would be out of the match. Moreover, he did not come to practice this week. However, not only Slay but other dominant Eagles players, including Andre Chachere (shoulder), LB Victor Dimukeje (foot), and CB Garrett Williams (knee), showed limited participation in the matchup.

Linebacker Zach Cunningham’s presence is still questionable because of his knee injury, but he was limited in his participation during the practice sessions. CB Avonte Maddox (pectoral), who has been on the injury reserve list, is set to return from the reserve. Albert Okwuegbunam’s hamstring injury ruled him out of Sunday’s match against the Arizona Cardinals.
