WR Deebo Samuel is ready to set foot on the gridiron in the NFC showdown. The San Francisco 49ers are going to host the Detroit Lions at Levi’s Stadium. The Lions will look to break the shackles and win the Championship this time around. However, Dan Campbell’s side has everything the team needs. Still, they need to be cautious, as the Lions are going to miss two of their key players.

The No. 1 NFC seed, the 49ers had a dream season, proved their mettle against the Green Bay Packers, and made it to the NFC finale in consecutive seasons. On the other hand, the third-seeded Lions started the season by defeating the Chiefs 21-20 and never looked back. Before the blockbuster clash, let’s look at which players the teams are going to miss out on in the Divisional final.

Deebo Samuels injured his right shoulder in the first quarter against the Packers last week. He suffered a fracture on the same shoulder and missed two regular season games. His injury gave a scare to the team, but his comeback will bolster the team’s offense at the right time. San Francisco posted the updated practice report of the week. Deebo Samuels had full participation on Friday, clearing all doubts about his return. Other than LB Oren Burks, the 49ers don’t need to worry about injuries.

The Lions’ injury report is out. Two of the offensive players are not going to play on Sunday. Left Guard Jonah Jackson is out because he underwent knee surgery and is recovering. To make matters worse, WR Kalif Raymond has also been ruled out, having also injured his knee in the week 18 game.

Moreover, Chase Lucas is ill enough to participate, and Hendon Hooker got his tooth removed and could be playing on Sunday as his status is still questionable. The Lions must fire all cylinders, as they are playing a championship game after 32 years.
