The -2°F/-20°C temperature is nothing compared to the heat of the playoffs in Arrowhead, Kansas City. But one football fan pictured during the 1st quarter fan has seemingly taken it to the next level during the Chiefs vs Dolphins wild card game.

The fan was pictured completely shirtless in the way-below-freezing temperature. It’s even more superhuman-like given the windy conditions in Kansas City, as the meteorological department has warned of a wind chill at over 12 miles/hour. But which team might overcome the football heat?

The Chiefs vs Dolphins game was predicted to be the coldest game in Arrowhead, and it’s living up to its name. Apart from the record-breaking temperature in the city, it’s extremely windy as well. But the fan looks like he just doesn’t care, and football is the only thing on his mind.

Apparently, it’s so cold that refrigerators are being used as heaters in the stadium. Bottles of water are instantly freezing as they get taken out of it.

Coach Andy Reid too, is simultaneously feeling the heat and cold.

The fan is truly defying nature and the limits of humanity, or he is completely disconnected from the outer world with all senses focused on the game. But whatever it is, it’s a sight to behold given it doesn’t get any wilder than that. It’s not every day that you see conditions this harsh.

But this is the NFL playoffs. With both sides fighting for supremacy, which side can pull off the win in the game?

Chiefs vs Dolphins: the biggest obstacle for the visitors

The Dolphins have been arguably the league’s most potent attack, since week 1. TagovailoaHillMostert on one side simply has been too much to handle for any defense. But on the other hand, the Chiefs’ defense has been constantly one of the best-performing units in the league. Which is a bigger problem for 6th-seed Dolphins than the temperature.

It’s so apparent that even Travis Kelce at one point acknowledged it’s the defense that was keeping them in the games. Stats don’t lie, and stats say they were the #2 in total defense, #4 on passing defense, and #2 on scoring defense leading up to this game. The defense also allowed 2nd least points per game at 17.3 and accounted for the league’s 2nd most sacks at 57.

And at the moment, it’s looking like its doing it’s magic. The home team is leading 13-7 with just 2 minutes to play in the 2nd quarter, and nothing short of a 2nd-half rejuvenation would save the visitors from the defending champions.
