As the Dallas Cowboys have to brace for a shock defeat against the Green Bay Packers. The world is falling apart within the Cowboys management, with several reports claiming that head coach Mike McCarthy could lose his job. And the NFL insider Adam Schefter adds fuel to the fire, with the name of Bill Belichick.
A tough loss in the wild card round for the Cowboys was not on the cards. And owner Jerry Jones has to make some hard decisions. One of the first ones could be dealing with HC McCarthy.

Earlier this week, reports came in that Belichick is waiting around for a playoff team after parting ways with the New England Patriots. And according to Schefter, Belichick could have a shot with the Cowboys. Even though there are many potential candidates, the respect that the 6 time Super Bowl winning coach commands within the league, could make the Cowboys job his.
“Bill is the greatest coach of all time. If they (the Cowboys) decide to make a change, he would be in play”, said Schefter while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show.

Though Prescott had 3 TDs in the last game, he also registered 2 interceptions. It wasn’t a flawless performance by the 30-year-old. With his contract set to expire in March of this year, the Cowboys have a decision to make.
Earlier this week, reports came in that Prescott will be given a record-breaking $60 million per year contract by the Cowboys. But after the defeat, the balance could have changed. And if McCarthy ends up being sacked, the next HC will have to decide on Prescott’s future.
