Commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell and his team secured a whopping 20 spots among the top 50 most-watched telecasts in Q1. The Sports Business Journal X account posted, “The #NFL’s dominance on TV is still unmatched. Among the top 50 most-watched telecasts in Q1, NFL games claim 20 spots, with scripted shows benefiting from their orbit.”The NFL has secured this position because of its immense popularity among a wide audience across multiple networks and digital platforms. A staggering 112 million viewers tuned in to the CBS broadcast alone, marking the largest audience ever for a single network.

The latest Super Bowl LVIII achieved a new milestone with an average of 123.4 million viewers, marking the highest viewership in TV history. Additionally, platforms such as Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Univision, CBS Sports, and NFL digital properties also played a role in the record-breaking viewership. Paramount+ experienced unparalleled viewership, establishing it as the most-streamed Super Bowl ever, although precise streaming statistics are not yet available.
