Can Liam Coen turn around the Bears’ fortunes?
If you look at his records at absolute value, it’s not very inspiring. His offense wrapped the season ranked No. 23 in red zone touchdown percentage. In terms of other stats such as points per drive and yards per play, his ranking is even more discouraging. They are No. 51 and No., 40 respectively. But if you do want to find the silver lining, there is one. All these numbers are actually an improvement from his 2022 season. Could it be that he’s getting better with time?
What was the main issue with his offense? Mostly efficiency. But his offense did well in the explosive play department. So, that’s something. He had actually also helped the team recruit other players. Brock Vandagriff, Cutter Boley, and Ja’Mori Maclin were also recruited by him. Could he bring his eye for recognizing talent to the Bears as well?
