The team fired Brandon Staley after an abysmal season and is looking for someone to be a part of their Super Bowl dreams next season, and have recently posted more details about their effort to find a new head honcho for the team.

Mike Vrabel is not the only HC the Chargers are eyeing right now. Jim Harbaugh is also an option worth considering for the Chargers. However, his tenure as a college coach might become a thorn in his as well as the Chargers’ way. If nothing goes Harbaugh’s way, he can always decide to go back to being a college coach. So the Chargers didn’t want to take a chance and have interviewed Vrabel.
However, bringing in a College Football National Championship to Michigan doesn’t overshadow Vrabel’s accomplishments with the Tennessee Titans. The Chargers should consider a few pointers before making up their minds about Jim Harbaugh.

Vrabel has extensive coaching experience both as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans and as a linebackers coach for the Houston Texans back in 2017. During his tenure with the Titans, he led the team to an AFC Championship game where they upset the No.1 and No.3 seeds in the AFC.
The Titans were the number-one seed in the AFC in 2021 and finished with a double-digit winning season as well. In his 2018-2023 marriage with the team, he finished with a 56-58 combined record in playoffs and regular season games. He started his tenure with the Texans as their LB coach in 2014 and was named their DC in 2017.
