Ken Dorsey is coming back to the Cleveland Browns! The former quarterback with the Browns has been snagged from the Buffalo Bills. And the 42-year-old will look to turn around the Browns’ offense in favor of QB Deshaun Watson.
“It was darn near like a root canal to get this job”, said Dorsey jokingly as being hired as the new OC. Not only does he have a history with the city and the franchise. Dorsey also has the respect of his new head coach, Kevin Stefanski.

After being let go by the Bills a few weeks ago, it was just a matter of time before Dorsey would be scooped for another job. And it was the Browns who made the first move in hiring Dorsey. They had let go of their last offensive coordinator, Alex van Pelt, after four years of service.
Browns officially hired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, tight ends/pass-game specialist coach Tommy Rees, defensive line coach Jacques Cesaire and running backs coach Duce Staley.

And Dorsey isn’t the only change coming this season. The Browns have made several changes in their coaching staff. All in the hopes of making QB Watson not only stay with the team but thrive as well.
Tommy Rees has been hired as a tight end/pass-game specialist coach. Jacques Cesaire will be taking over from Ben Bloom as defensive line coach and Duce Staley will be the new running back coach. Though the most important of all positions will be OCs, it’s wonderful that the HC has faith in him.
The Browns and Stefanski trust Dorsey
“Ken has worked with and elevated some of the top quarterbacks in this league and will bring a fresh approach to our offense,” said HC Stefanski. He is not wrong either, as Ken has worked with superstar QBs such as Cam Newton and Josh Allen.

The Browns’ fanbase will be hoping that Dorsey works wonders with Watson as well. The 28-year-old QB has shown potential since joining the Browns in 2022 but has lacked that killer instinct.
