Now they are pitching for someone who has experience working under HC Matt Eberflus. The two had worked together during their time with the Indianapolis Colts. So, who is this shiny new prospect?

HC Eberflus and GM Ryan Poles are in the hunt for a new OC. And it seems they have found someone they might like. Jeremy Fowler shared the news on X. The Eagles’ senior OC Marcus Brady is the prospect. When the Bears failed to make it to the playoffs due to their record, heads were sure to roll. The team spared the head coach, but the axe fell on OC Luke Getsy.

However, he did not leave the organization alone. Along with him, four other coaches were shown the door. Who were they? Running backs coach Omar Young, quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko, wideouts coach Tyke Tolbert, and tight ends coach Tim Zetts. So, how has Brady’s track record been?

How has Brady’s record been so far?

He had actually started off playing as a QB. Brady played 7 seasons in the Canadian Football League. Which teams did he play for? Montreal Alouettes, Toronto Argonauts, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats Montreal Alouettes. His stint as a player lasted for 7 years, from 2002 to 2008. But he did not have a mediocre playing record. And then in 2017, he made the plunge into the NFL. Since he was a QB in his playing days, he took up an assistant QB coach’s role. Then he was soon pushed to the OC role in 2021. His HC was Frank Reich. And this was where he worked with the now-Bears HC Eberflus. He was fired from the team in November 2022. If he does jump ship and join the Bears, he will be reunited with his former colleague of 4 years.
