Calvin was merely 7 when he last saw his father. He was the eldest of four siblings that Colin and Kay have. However, after his deportation, Kay took up the mantle of raising Calvin and his three other siblings.
Despite so much time and success, Calvin and Kay have not decided to contact Colin. And his father hasn’t made the effort to do so as well. Hence it’s understandable that Calvin refers to his mom as the dad of the household. And she made the role her own perfectly.
Kay Daniels is an inspiration to all
Calvin’s exceptional speed on the gridiron can also be traced back to her mother. Kay was a star track runner in her school days. Along with excelling at 100m and 200m runs, she also did long jumps along with several track activities.
