According to the reports, they allegedly removed New Jersey political personality and power broker George Norcross III from the Eagles’ VIP box during the team’s matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. While the game was still on, Norcross hung a U.S.-Israel flag outside the suite.

Seeing this, a staff member approached him and reportedly requested him to remove the flag. However, Norcross refused to remove the American-Israel flag, and hence, was escorted out of the suite. After the incident, Norcross has reportedly threatened to sue the Eagles, the league, and its security staff.

According to the American businessman, the reason for his actions was due to his inclination toward the flag he had raised. Not only did he put forth his opinion, Norcross also made the comparison of the issue with the Ukraine-Russia war .

However, as the concerns reached the NFL world, especially the Eagles management, they were quick to chime in with their comments. Despite Norcross’ belief that the reason for his removal from the game was due to the flag he was presenting, the team claimed that their motive was different than that.

However, declining all these allegations, the Eagles said that Norcross’ removal from the stadium wasn’t because of what his sign said. Instead, they removed him because their policy doesn’t allow modified signs, with messages unrelated to the game, to be hung from a stadium suite. The Philadelphia Eagles also clarified that they bear no ill intent for the politician and such flags are not just prohibited within NFL games, but at a global level.
