Belichick is the last standing member of the Golden Era Patriots which won six Super Bowls… And the first one too, as he engineered the unrivaled Dynasty that began in the early 2000s. It was historic, it was majestic while it lasted. But just like every good thing, it is coming to an end. At least that’s what the surroundings suggest.

Call it a sinking ship, call it a chess game that’s already lost… it’s a sad turnaround that a few saw coming in the end. The pieces of Belichick’s game are falling down one by one, and Mac Jones is just one of them. Although he has been given another lifeline to save the downhill Patriots, no one knows how long it is before the game is over.
