Forget game plans and touchdown passes – Trevor Lawrence is scoring major points in the game of life! Just three months into his incredible journey of fatherhood, the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback is proving he’s just as skilled at family adventures as he is at threading passes. Swapping the sticky humidity of Jacksonville for Colorado’s crisp mountain air, Lawrence and his wife Marissa Layne Lawrence are taking their little girl on her first epic family expedition. After a challenging 2024 NFL season that ended early due to a concussion and shoulder surgery, it looks like Lawrence is making the most of his recovery time by embracing every moment of new parenthood.
And, this was evident from Marissa’s latest Instagram post. As they are getting “cozy in Colorado,” she took to IG once again to post a series of pictures from her ongoing trip. The caption reads, “Our first family trip!! So proud of our girl & I love getting to show her the world 🏔️✈️🤎.” Trevor’s younger sister, Olivia Rodriguez, and her husband, Andrew Lauster, have also joined them, making it a complete package of a heartfelt family trip.
Imagine a snapshot of pure joy – the Lawrence family painting a picture of happiness against Colorado’s breathtaking snowy backdrop! Trevor, styled in a black long-sleeve shirt and a “Journey” baseball cap, radiates a casual coolness that speaks volumes about his current chapter of life. Marissa looks effortlessly chic in her brown and white knit sweater, her ensemble as warm and intricate as the family moment they’re capturing.

And then there’s their little princess – bundled up in an adorable pink onesie and a crisp white beanie, looking like the most precious addition to this NFL family’s adventure. The mountainous, snow-covered slopes serve as a stunning backdrop, transforming their family photo from a simple picture to a memory that practically sparkles with love and contentment.

Trevor and Marissa welcomed their daughter, Shae Lynn Lawrence, on January 4, 2025, at 4:01 AM. Marissa made a heartfelt post to reveal it to her fans, writing, “Shae Lynn Lawrence. Born 1/4/25 at 4:01 am. 10 pounds 2 oz 🎀🩷. Mommy and daddy love you so much!!! Thank you Jesus for our girl!!” And, since then, Marissa has always kept her fans in the loop with baby updates, which stands in complete contrast with Brittany Mahomes’ parental advice.
Marissa Lawrence ignores Brittany Mahomes’s parental advice
In the world of celebrity parenting, Brittany Mahomes is playing defense like her NFL superstar husband defends the end zone! Since welcoming Golden Raye Mahomes on January 12, 2025, she’s made one thing crystal clear – this little MVP is staying out of the public spotlight. During a recent Instagram Q&A, Brittany opened up about her journey to motherhood, but when it comes to baby photos? No sneak peeks are allowed! When fans thought they caught a glimpse of Golden in a video, Brittany quickly shut down the speculation. “That’s not Golden,” she explained. “That’s Makoa in the bouncer.” Her statement was as precise as a Patrick Mahomes touchdown pass: “Golden is in the stroller. You can’t see her and won’t for a while.”

What’s your perspective on:
Trevor Lawrence shares his family joy—Is this openness refreshing or should he keep it private?
Have an interesting take?
One thing that Brittany is sure of is that Golden will remain behind the scenes for now. But, as it goes, two moms and two playbooks. Marissa is all about sharing her daughter’s journey. When Shae made her first smile, she posted, “Shae has started smiling and trying to talk back to us!” Next, she took up to display her joy on realising that Shae now recognises them. Marissa penned, “She lights up when she sees us!” Not only this, she also updated how her daughter sleeps like a champ— six, sometimes nine-hour stretches. And, as Trevor Lawrence is in his girl dad era, through her updates Marissa is making fans an equal part of her journey.
