After a heartbreaking season, the San Francisco 49ers are looking forward to a banger NFL season. As the offseason has already started, their preparation has surpassed the steep side on the road while firing multiple coaches. One of the important things to notice about the 49ers is that they seem determined for the upcoming season. Proof? The 49ers have said that they will do whatever it takes to keep Brock Purdy for longer. But as the team is fully set, WR Deebo Samuel has different off-season plans.

After five years with the Niners, the franchise wide receiver Deebo Samuel had sought trade permission from the 49ers organization, and, per reports, the 49ers have approved it. But as Samuel is looking for the “best” offseason opportunity, the national reporter, Adam Schefter, has revealed the four trade destinations for Deebo Samuel, the 49ers #1. While talking about the same on The Pat McAfee Show, he said, There’s so many of them. And there’s still going to be so much wide receiver movement this offseason that I don’t know.” And then started revealing the potential trade plans.

The NFL reporter said, “What happens if T. Higgins leaves Cincinnati?” And added, “Would he be an option there? What if Tyreek Hill gets traded for Miami? Is he an option there?” And after discussing the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals, the inside said, “I think it’s hard to pinpoint right now where Devo would go. Look, I could see him in Pittsburgh. I could see him in Baltimore.” And confirmed that we could see Deebo Samuel in a lot of places this offseason.

Samuel was drafted by the 49ers in 2019 and since then he has played for Niners only. That is why, when asked about the trade, Deebo said, “It was a hard conversation to have with Kyle [Shanahan] because of the relationship that we have. But I have to do what’s best.” Deebo Samuel told the NFL reporters on February 10. He also added, “I’m more than thankful for the Niners giving me the opportunity of a lifetime, but now I think it’s best that we find another team.” And per national reporter, the top spots for the 49ers wide receiver, Deebo Samuel, would be the Cincinnati Bengals, the Miami Dolphins, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Pittsburgh Steelers

Samuel has signed a rookie extension deal of $71,550,000 for three years, which ends in 2025. His average annual salary is $23,850,000. And talking about the 49ers’ salary cap space, according to Over The Cap, the franchise has $56,564,041 cap space.

Deebo Samuel’s interest in the Denver Broncos

The 49ers wide receiver was in conversation with the Bleacher Report Sunday and when asked about which team would surprise everyone in the upcoming season, he rightly said, “Denver”. To elaborate, let’s see how he has explained his take. Samuel said, “I can say Denver. Bo Nix is playing really, really good ball right now. Their defense is outrageous. You got P2 (Patrick Surtain II) out there, who’s, I would say the best at the position right now. Probably been for the past two years.” But what he said after this confirms his keen interest in the Broncos.

Deebo Samuel said, “I just think you need a couple more pieces and it’ll be what it needs to be. And just have to get past Pat Mahomes every year.” And as Sean Payton also wants a “joker” in the wide receiver position, Deebo Samuel could be a perfect fit. When Sean Payton, the Broncos HC, was having a conversation with Kay Adam, he said, “We do the evaluation of our team, and the purpose of that is then to establish what we call ‘musts, needs, and wants. I would say we need a ‘joker.’” By joker, he means a capable, quality wide receiver who has lightning speed and versatile receiving skills.

That’s why the Denver Broncos can be a better spot for Deebo Samuel, where his own interests also get involved. But the wide receiver may not need to worry as four more franchises may need a wideout like him.
