Does Aaron Rodgers control the entire Jets front office? Well, that’s what the word was this season. The NFL needs to know where the veteran QB is landing next. Will he continue with the Jets, or will he be leaving? Because the more days that pass, the more the curiosity grows. Reporters are trying to dig in and get answers from new coach Aaron Glenn, but nothing is working. But wait, one of them has dropped a bombshell.

I think Rodgers had issues with how the building is run and how things go,” says Peter Schrager. The reporter for Fox Sports, Schrager, is the latest to chime in with his two cents on the Rodgers situation. And like many others, he believes that Rodgers is the better option for the Jets—PERIOD! “If I want to win, he’s my quarterback next year.” But you know where the problem is? After there were rumors that Aaron was responsible for the firing of Robert Saleh, Glenn might hesitate to work with him.

Coaches don’t want to be bossed around, and Rodgers reportedly bosses his coaches, particularly those on the Jets. But Schrager thinks having him is still better than drafting a third-round QB or rolling with an unproven quarterback. “I get the whole, let’s clear it out. I think you’re almost better off having Rodgers and winning games if you want respect and authority in the building than just having some makeshift quarterback or a third-round rookie starting,” he says.

And the only problem here is the way things went this season. From Rodgers missing mini-practice camps to skipping medical examinations, it’s a mess. No coach would want that kind of chaos around them. But Peter Schrager thinks Aaron Glenn might just be the guy who can handle it. “If you’re a leader of men and you’re the Aaron Glenn that has all this confidence and respect in the building and trust from the players. Well, then you can handle a personality like Rodgers being in the building,” Schrager said.

However, there’s another suggestion for A-Rod about his future team.

Aaron Rodgers and the Tennessee Titans?

What’s your perspective on:

Is Aaron Rodgers the Jets' savior, or should he consider a fresh start with the Titans?

Have an interesting take?

Now, that’s something no one saw coming -except for Mina Kimes. Everybody is trying to fit Aaron Rodgers into some team like he’s their missing piece of the puzzle. Some believe Tom Brady’s Raiders are the best fit for him, while others think he’d be better off with the Jets. ESPN’s analyst Mina Kimes is of the view that the Tennessee Titans could be the team Rodgers ends up with if the Jets part ways with him.

The Titans have had a nightmare season, scraping only three wins this year. The talk of the town is that they’re looking for a new QB because Will Levis couldn’t lead the team as they had hoped. I don’t think they will draft a quarterback. I do think they’re gonna go the veteran route,” says Mina Kimes. Okay, so the Titans have had enough of not winning, and they think going the veteran route could save them. That’s why they’ll have an eye on Rodgers.

Now, that’s interesting. And honestly, that’s why the Jets brought the ex-Packers QB on board in the first place. But, as we all know, they couldn’t win any Lombardi trophies with him. Thanks to injuries and all the messy management dramas that followed.

Warren Moon, the former NFL QB, thinks it may not be a good idea to bring Rodgers on board with the Titans. “I don’t know if he’s the right move for this young football team. To bring in Aaron at this point, I think he would be better suited for a more veteran team. So, I don’t think Tennessee is necessarily the place for him,” he opined.

So, no one knows what’s going to happen next. Maybe we’ll have to wait until the Super Bowl to find out where Rodgers will finally end up.
