The Browns have been real quiet about their QB plans, but Myles Garrett just gave us a little sneak peek—and let’s just say, something’s definitely cookin’ in Cleveland. My guy has made it clear he’s tryna win now, and locking down the right quarterback is the biggest piece of the puzzle. With the offseason drama heating up, Garrett’s latest comments have Browns fans connecting dots real quick.

So, Garrett pulled up to The Dawgs Podcast and got grilled about the team’s QB situation. When asked if he knew who it’d be, he straight-up said, “Well, after conversations, I do have an idea.” Then he was asked, “Okay, do you like the idea?” and he hit back with, “I like it enough to, you know, be here smiling in front of you because I think we have a good chance of that happening and making the most out of it.” Myles Garrett was beaming, so you know he’s feeling good about it. And when they tried to get him to spill the name, he shut it down with a classic, “You know I can’t do that.” But let’s be real—his face kinda gave it away.

Now, before we get into the real suspects, let’s talk about who’s off the board. The Browns had their eyes on Sam Darnold, but the dude just secured the bag in Seattle—three years, $110.5M, with $55M guaranteed. Crazy. After a Pro Bowl season with the Vikings (4,319 yards, 35 TDs), the Seahawks weren’t playing around. So yeah, he’s out, and the Browns gotta pivot.

Enter Russell Wilson. Yep, that Russ. He’s officially out in Pittsburgh after an up-and-down season (2,482 yards, 16 TDs in 11 games), and word on the street is he’s considering both the Browns and the Giants. The fact that Garrett is out here giving cryptic smiles has people thinking Wilson might be the guy. It would be kinda wild to see him in brown and orange, but hey, you never say never.

Then there’s Kirk Cousins. His situation in Atlanta is messy. The Falcons gotta decide whether to keep him or let him walk before his $10M roster bonus kicks in. If he hits the market, Cleveland could make a move. Say what you want about Kirk, but he’s a solid vet who can sling it, and the Browns need someone they can count on under center.

At the end of the day, Garrett basically confirmed the Browns have a plan—they’re just not ready to spill yet. Whether it’s Russ, Kirk, or a surprise pick, one thing’s for sure: Cleveland isn’t tryna roll into next season without a real QB1. Stay tuned, ‘cause this saga is far from over.

The reason why we think it’s Russ? Well, Garrett was quite excited when the QB arrived for a visit.

What’s your perspective on:

Could Russell Wilson be the missing piece for the Browns, or is Kirk Cousins a better fit?

‘Join Us or Get Sacked,’ Myles Garrett’s savage pitch as Russell Wilson visits Browns

Russell Wilson pulled up to Cleveland for a visit, and Myles Garrett wasted zero time giving him the most unhinged sales pitch ever. Instead of hyping up the team or selling the dream, Garrett basically told Wilson, ‘Join us, or I’ll ruin your Sundays.’ Iconic behavior.

When asked if the Browns were actively recruiting a QB or if things just kinda happened, Garrett played it cool, saying, “Maybe a little bit of both.” But when they pressed him on his actual pitch to Wilson, he hit ‘em with “What’s my pitch? I want to take them to the ground three or four times a year.” Myles Garrett really said, ‘Sign here or get sacked into another dimension.’ Honestly? I won’t support any, but it’s a badass talk.

Meanwhile, Kenny Pickett just touched down in Cleveland, and he’s already tryna lock in that QB1 spot. The Browns traded for him after his brief stint in Philly, and even though he knows the team is bringing in competition, he’s not backing down. “I do view myself as a starter,” Pickett said. “I’m sure they’re going to bring in another veteran and who knows what else, but I’m just excited to be here and compete with whoever.” Love the confidence, but let’s be real—his job is far from safe.

Stat check: Pickett went 14-10 as a starter with the Steelers, throwing for 4,474 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. Not exactly franchise QB material, and with Cleveland sniffing around Wilson and holding the No. 2 overall pick, the dude might be in for a rude awakening. The Browns could grab a rookie, and if Wilson signs, Pickett might just be holding a clipboard all season.

Pickett’s taking the pressure like a champ, though. When asked about Wilson being in the building the same day as his press conference, he kept it chill, saying, “As long as I have a chance to compete, that’s all you can ask for.Translation: As long as they don’t bench me before camp, we’re good.

Bottom line? The Browns’ QB situation is messy, and Wilson’s visit makes it even spicier. If he signs, Pickett’s shot at starting looks bleak. If he doesn’t sign? Well, Garrett already made it clear that Wilson’s next season might just be painful.
