Amidst the excitement of Super Bowl LVIII, where the Chiefs triumphed over the San Francisco 49ers, the Bears faced a burning case: their quarterback decision. After this season’s horrendous performance, there’s a clamor for quarterback change. Many believe QB Caleb Williams could fit the role. Even so, no decision has been made yet. Amidst all the chatter, an NFL analyst chimed in with his thoughts.
The Bears are shifting their focus as they are looking to fix their quarterback position in the NFL Draft. Kurt Warner also echoes a similar stance and suggests reshuffling in the quarterback positions as the Bears contemplate the 1st overall pick.

During the latest appearance at The Rich Eisen Show, the Hall of Famer and analyst Kurt Warner joined as a special guest virtually to discuss the matter related to Super Bowl LVIII. In the middle of the conversation, the host asked Warner about his stance on whether the Chicago Bears should stick with Justin Fields or draft a quarterback for the one overall pick this April.
Warner said, “I mean, you know, I’ve been outspoken on this and um, you know, and we can sit here, and I can, you know, fully buy into that it hasn’t been fair with Justin Fields because of the different coordinators and lack of talent around Justin Fields and all of that stuff.” Furthermore, he suggested the Bears ask themselves a question if Fields has yet proved himself as the franchise quarterback. And if the answer is yes, they have to “move on.”
Warner added, “I believe we have to move on. You’ve got the number one pick. There are other quarterbacks out there that you know project to be good unless, without a shadow of a doubt, Justin Fields is that guy. I believe you have to go the other route.” The analyst stated that if Fields hasn’t proven himself, moving forward with him is meaningless.
Another piece of news indicates Fields’ potential trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
