“Most Embarrassing Season”: Football Fans In America Condemn Philadelphia Eagles’ Downfall

The New York Giants are toying with the Philadelphia Eagles right now. This might be the Giants’ first blowout win of the season, that too coming against an unexpected opponent. Eagles supporters rallied behind the team covering up for the state of their defensive coaching, sub-par quarterback performance, and little to no receiving action. But all of that might change after this game of brutal hurdles.

The Eagles are facing the untimeliest downfall ever. On the brink of another defeat, the Eagles are all set to lose five out of their last six games. One of the fans expressed the sheer anger they left, writing on X that he smashed his TV in the middle of a party and went as far as to mention, “This team has ruined my life and my party”.

The mighty birds crumble in the face of “not so much” pressure

The Eagles barely won the game against the Giants last time around and now the NY team is trying to make the most of it, humiliating the Philly team. After the first half of the game was over, the Eagles’ X account uploaded a picture of their dismal display of score. They were standing at 24-0 at that moment, disappointing the whole NFL world with their performance.

Despite all the shuffling of the defensive coaches, the Eagles gave away 24 points to the NY team in a rather submissive manner. The side reflected hardly any signs of a positive mindset during the game, gaining immense backlash online due to this. But referencing today’s game, defense is not the only area of crisis for the Birds currently. The offense remained sub-par as well, with the team only being able to secure 3 points till the third quarter, that too courtesy of a field goal by Jake Elliott.

The Giants had 3 TDs in the second quarter alone, asserting their staggering dominance over the clash. Two of them came from Saquon Barkley, who got his first fully successful outing on the gridiron, all thanks to the Eagles’ pure execution. The fans are disappointed and outraged with the Eagles and the team cannot look to hide behind the fact that their QB Jalen Hurts is injured at the moment.

The Philadelphia Eagles fans are infuriated

One fan seemed utterly disappointed in the side, expressing how this season has been a disaster for the Eagles. He even went to the extent of sharing a strategy with the team to follow, to at least get to witness someone playing “hard” among the birds. He wrote, “This season will always be remembered by this franchise as maybe the most embarrassing season ever. Put in Tanner McKee to start the second half plz. He might play hard at least”

Another fan highlighted their incident of anger, courtesy of the poor display by the Philadelphia side. They expressed how the situation for them at home had turned brutal just because of the frustration they were feeling due to the poor display from the team that was expected to be the favorites in the clash.

Some fans commented with a couple of GIFs trolling Nick Sirianni and another fan wrote how this season and not just the game has been an extremely sub-par display of football skills from the Eagles side. They commented:

The Eagles’ slander didn’t stop there as another fan chimed in about the poor coaching techniques of HC Nick Sirianni. He highlighted how the rumors of Sirianni’s removal from the team might just end up being true after the kind of play they have put forth today.

One fan also wrote, “Jason Kelce deserves better,” highlighting how the football player needed more support from the team, instead of continuing without any extended hand of help.

There is a lot of hostility towards the Philadelphia team and the locker room scenario might get ugly after the game. Not to mention the embarrassment that the team will have to face in the presser.
