Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, recently shared some exciting news with her Instagram followers. In her story, she shared a photo featuring Adidas and Texas Tech branded merchandise. Along with the goodies, there was a letter addressed to Randi Mahomes, reportedly as a token of new launch and love for her. Randi mentioned her son Mahomes by tagging him, and included a Desert Cactus Texas Tech Sticker in her story.

Her story update came after Texas Tech officially announced a 10-year long partnership with Adidas, a partner brand of Patrick Mahomes. With this new update, the university ended its nearly two-decade association with Under Armour. Mahomes, who is a former Texas Tech player, has his unique “gladiator” logo featured on the new football uniforms, including home, away, and alternate versions.

This marks the first time Mahomes’ branding is used on a school’s uniforms. The popularity of this jersey can be figured out from the deal which represented a 107% increase in the annual cash value compared to the previous Under Armour deal, which paid Texas Tech about $12.9 million between 2020 and 2024.
