We are about to witness history! Only a few days remain between Patrick Mahomes’s Kansas City Chiefs and their potential 3-peat greatness. And you can easily sense the entire NFL community talking about this. The same chatter continued inside the hospital room!

We already know that Patrick Mahomes’s grandfather, Randy Martin, is hospitalized. Since September last year, he hasn’t been good in terms of health. He was discharged in October 2024, but in January, Randi Mahomes shared another update, stating that doctors had moved her father to hospice care due to his declining health.

But there is some positive update coming from the hospital room now. Revealing it, Patrick Mahomes’s mom Randi shared a story on her Instagram account. In this new update, we could easily see the 53-year-old’s hand placed gently on her father’s hand as a sign of care and support.

Along with this beautiful snap, Randi Mahomes also wrote a caption. Patrick Mahomes’s single mother wrote, “Afternoon with daddy & all he wants to talk about is the Super Bowl.” Randy speaking to his child is itself a positive news for the Mahomes family. But the more emotional and happier news is that despite thousands of topics, he decided to talk about his grandson’s Super Bowl. Lovely, isn’t it?

The Super Bowl LIX is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, February 9 in New Orleans. We already know that it’s a Super Bowl LVII rematch between the Chiefs and the Eagles. As the entire world is excited for the game, including Randi Mahomes’s father, a new addition in their family is also about to witness daddy playing.

Is Patrick Mahomes’s three-week-old daughter coming into the Super Bowl?

Yes! Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’s third child, Golden Raye Mahomes is also reportedly attending the Super Bowl. During the Super Bowl press conference, the quarterback told the media, “I’m excited for her to come. I think it’ll be her first football game at the Super Bowl and I hope that we get her a win.” The QB also revealed the purpose of bringing their second daughter into the game—“It’s always motivating whenever you have another baby. I mean, just because I want them to have the same experiences that the other two have.” That’s sweet.

Golden Raye was born on Sunday, January 12, 2025, conveniently during the Chiefs’s well-earned bye week. Now, just three weeks old, she will be witnessing her daddy achieve potential greatness. Although she is too young to understand the game or anything, her presence would mean a lot to the Mahomes family and their fans.

Not only that! The Caesars Superdome will also witness U.S. President Donald Trump. He will be the first President ever in history to attend a Super Bowl matchup. Now it would be interesting to see him attend the game, especially when Taylor Swift, who didn’t support Trump in the election, would also be present at the location.
