Christmas and New Year celebrations didn’t witness the Mahomes family together. However, the New Year resolutions have brought the family and fans together for a special cause. Besides cheering during his games, this time Patrick Mahomes got unwavering support from his mother Randi, and sister Mia off-field as well.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has been named as the nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. To strengthen his winning chances, Mahomes recently went to the EarlystART organization to spread joy among his little fans, gifting them a bag of goodies. And now, he has the presence of his mother beside him, who joined hands with her elder son to make a difference in society.

Randi Mahomes has a message for Mahomies!

Around 9 hours ago, Randi Mahomes shared a story with her followers on Instagram. She re-uploaded a post from Patrick Mahomes’ foundation “15 and the Mahomies” in which a child is seen holding a face photo banner of the quarterback, accompanied by an overlaying text written on it, “Ready to team up with a real champ?

This post is a kind of advertisement calling out the Mahomies of the world to volunteer for the organization, supporting Patrick Mahomes in his social cause. Randi has already joined hands with her son and his cause, as she asked her followers, “Who else is in with Mia and I to volunteer?

15 and the Mahomies was established by the reigning MVP in 2019. It was brought into effect to help improve the lives of children in their health, education, wellness, and other charitable causes. It encourages youths, aged 11-18, besides adults, to volunteer for these causes for 15 hours to bring social change in society. As Randi and Mia Randall have already joined to help, the anticipation remains on who else will join hands with the QB for his noble initiative.

Meanwhile, attention draws to the fact that Mahomes’ Foundation has done a lot for society since 2019, and hence being the prime reason behind his nomination for the Walter Payton Man of the Year honor.

The impact of ‘15 and the Mahomies’ in society so far!

Patrick Mahomes’ foundation has done a lot of positive things to serve the under-privileged. They have distributed over $4 million to different projects, earning recognition among KC’s biggest charitable trusts. The foundation also tackles youth illiteracy through the “Read for 15” program.

Furthermore, Mahomes started this season by partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, for which he pledged to donate $1,500 for every touchdown in this regular season. Also, they made a $1.625 million donation to support facility improvements. Before the season, the QB also partnered with ‘Make-A-Wish’ granting wishes for ten children who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses.

To promote volunteerism, Mahomes launched the “Volunteer for 15” program, exceeding its goal with nearly 20,000 volunteer hours completed in the local community. He also distributed over 15,000 meals in 2022 and provided free eye checkups and glasses to more than 100 children.

The foundation’s impact extends to various initiatives, including supporting Historically Black colleges and universities. It provided scholarships for children of NAVY SEALs, those who are wounded or fallen. Mahomes and his foundation have also played a significant role in civic engagement, encouraging voter registration. He turned the Chiefs’ Arrowhead stadium into the largest polling center in KC during the 2020 general election as well.
