Randi Mahomes is back from her mother-daughter Europe trip with Mia, and she’s been in a nostalgic mood lately. The mom of three has been dropping little gems -from her playing days to her kids’ glory years. Recently, Randi shared a gift she once gave Patrick Mahomes, and honestly, it was such a thoughtful one.

On Monday, Randi got candid about her own sports adventures, giving fans a glimpse of her fiery side. From her unforgettable softball blunder to her no-holds-barred attitude on the basketball court, Randi had some entertaining tales to tell. It looks like Pat Mahomes’ competitiveness didn’t just appear out of thin air, it runs deep in the family. And like always, she had something to share about her kids too, not just Patrick, but Jackson and Mia as well.

Well, mom Mahomes took a walk down memory lane, sharing two of her favorite childhood sports moments. In her latest IG post, Randi opened up about a not-so-graceful but unforgettable softball experience. She recalled pitching at the state tournament and accidentally throwing the ball so high it sailed over the entire back screen. Very embarrassing,” the mom of three admitted. But interestingly, they still won the game. “But we won. So I came back after that. I learned from my mistake,” shared Randi.

But the real gem of her sports memories is from her basketball days. Reflecting on her aggressive play style, the Chiefs QB’s mom shared that her daughter Mia has also inherited that aggressiveness from her. Patrick’s half-sister Mia is athletic, just like her brother – she plays basketball and volleyball. Talking about aggressiveness, Randi also shared how her son Patrick didn’t adopt that trait of hers, and neither did Patrick’s younger brother, Jackson. “Patrick and Jackson, I would always scream as a mom, ‘Get more aggressive, come on, get, you know,’ and even to this day I’m like, ‘Go, you know, get meaner.’ And they didn’t take after me.” Not your average sports mom there… or is she?

Randi wasn’t just talking the talk, she walked the walk too. She humorously mentioned holding a record during her playing days in school.

Breaking records… Randi Mahomes style

“I was very aggressive. If I had five fouls, I was gonna use ten.” That’s how fiery Randi Mahomes was during her high school basketball days. And it’s not just her son Patrick who holds records, mama Mahomes had a few to her name too. So what if they were foul records? “All of my teachers say that I hold the fouled-out record, so I do hold a record too. I fouled out a lot,” she joked.

Well, Randi’s aggressive play style may not have landed her in any Hall of Fame, but it left a mark, even if it was just on her teachers. And while Patrick and Jackson didn’t inherit their mom’s on-court edge, her daughter Mia is proudly carrying on the family’s fiery streak on the basketball court.

Well, that stroll down memory lane was quite a nostalgic one for Randi. Speaking of nostalgia, on Sunday, she dropped a video showing off a special gift she once gave Patrick Mahomes: a quilt made from all of his jerseys and the logos of the teams he played for growing up. “Having a nostalgic moment…and spring break is bringing back all the memories from traveling with sports to team hangouts to tournaments. Every jersey tells a story. 🏈⚾️🏀 This quilt is a reminder of all the hard work, dedication, and dreams along the way. So proud of the journey and the memories stitched into every piece. ❤️” she penned in the caption.

The mom of three also revealed that she took the quilt back from Patrick, fearing he might lose it. But don’t worry, she promised to give it back to him one day.
