The NFL is on the verge of reshuffling its coaching structure. Previously, it was Bill Belichick’s dismissal, which marked the end of 24 years of togetherness with the New England Patriots. Now, even teams like the Titans and Panthers are interviewing some of the elite head coaches to get a head start for the next season. Adding to this list is another team, the Atlanta Falcons. The squad has been actively searching for their new head coach and is scheduled to interview Mike Vrabel.
The Falcons ended their agreement with Arthur Smith after three disappointing seasons, culminating in a 7-10 record. As the team heads into the offseason, they are looking to hire the right head coach based on previous records. Mike Vrabel seems to be one of the top candidates.

The recent Twitter post by NFL insider Jeff Darlington shed light on the Falcons’ intention to interview Mike Vrabel. He wrote, “After his in-person meeting with the Chargers on Thursday, Mike Vrabel is scheduled to continue his tour next Wednesday with an in-person meeting in Atlanta with Arthur Blank and other key members of the Falcons organization, sources say.” Previously, Vrabel served as a Titans HC and now it seems his new journey is set to begin in no time. His tenure with the Titans lasted for six seasons and four playoff appearances. On Thursday, he also had an in-person interview with the Chargers, who have their search for a coach going on.

Interestingly, the Falcons’ interest in Vrabel had been predicted by Jordan Schultz before the interview even commenced, as he said that the Falcons are “another club” that might choose Mike Vrabel as their head coach. He further stated, “I think the Falcons will certainly be in the mix for Mike Vrabel.” The Falcons finished with a terrible 7-10 record this season, which marked a failed attempt to reach the playoffs for the sixth time. Therefore, change is necessary to have a brighter future.
Additionally, the previous head coach is not one to underestimate. He successfully led the New England team to three Super Bowls and also improved the performance of the Titans during his time there, leading to four consecutive winning seasons. Considering his prowess, Vrabel is an ideal candidate to fill up the vacant position On top of that, Vrabel might also be interested in the team because his son Tyler recently signed a contract with the Falcons, which could excite Vrabel to join the team.
However, in addition to Mike Vrabel, the team has also interviewed some elite coaches.

Apart from Mike Vrabel, the Falcons previously commenced their interview with some of the best coaches of this generation, including Baltimore Defensive Coordinator Mike Macdonald, Defensive Coordinator Steve Wilke, Michigan star head coach Jim Harbaugh, Brian Johnson, and Panthers DC Ejiro Evero.
Another exciting news that has caused a stir on the internet is that the Falcons have even decided to interview the Patriots’ former head coach, Bill Belichick. The announcement was made today by the club, considering Bill Belichick’s experience and desire to continue coaching, as journalist Rich Eisen rightly pointed out that the veteran coach is “not tapping out” from coaching.
