The Pittsburgh Steelers will be keeping themselves in the hunt after beating the Cincinnati Bengals with a final score of 34-11. The Steelers were on a 3-game losing streak before they were visited by the Cincinnati Bengals. After losing to the likes of the Patriots, Colts, and Cardinals, there were a lot of questions surrounding Mike Tomlin and his team.
After the much-needed win, the Steelers are still in the hunt to get a berth in the playoffs. Mike Tomlin never had a losing season, and it looks like this time, the Steelers will get away with it yet again. In the absence of Kenny Pickett, Mason Rudolph put on a show at the Acrisure Stadium, and the crowd was chanting his name at the top of their lungs, Mike Tomlin had a lot to say about him.

The reporter asked about Rudolph’s performance today and what Tomlin liked about him in this game. The HC, who is almost always serious, couldn’t keep himself from praising the new QB.
“He was Mason. We talked about it earlier in the week. He’s got a belief in himself, he’s aggressive in his play style and I thought he did a really good job not displaying a lot of rust for a guy who hadn’t played obviously a lot.”, said Mike Tomlin of the Steelers’ QB.
Mason Rudolph had an amazing game as he came out with a final passer rating of 124.0. Speaking of the performance, Rudolph did wonders for the Steelers.

The game started with a bang when Mason Rudolph threw an 86-yard missile to George Pickens and put the Pittsburgh Steelers on the map. This happened in the first quarter with 10:45 left on the clock. Rudolph didn’t score in the second quarter but threw another 66 yard-pass to George Pickens again. At this point, the Steelers were 31-8 to the Bengals.
Rudolph had 17 out of his 27 passes completed, went for two touchdowns, and came out with a completion rate of 63%. Also, he passed for 290 yards but was sacked once in the game.

The Steelers will be playing against the Seattle Seahawks next, and they will be on the road for the next two games. It would be a battle of the backup QBs as Mason Rudolph goes against the Seattle legend Drew Lock.
