The Steelers have yet to decide their QB for the 2025 season! Amid their QB crisis, Seahawks’ DK Metcalf trade to the Steelers gave a surprising boost to Mike Tomlin’s team. How? Well, none other than Steelers placekicker Chris Boswell humorously expressed his feelings on the latest trade of NFL star WR DK Metcalf as he is set to join forces with WR George Pickens.
Thrilled with Tomlin’s decision, 2 time Pro Bowler Boswell could not resist hyping his skills for the QB position. Taking to his official Instagram handle, the NFL All-Pro placekicker shared a picture of himself ready to sling the ball. And, with his caption, he expressed his confidence in the new-look receivers unit while hilariously pushing his interest in the QB position. “I got this. GP and DK down there somewhere,” he mentioned.
With his post, Boswell made the point that even a placekicker can throw successful passes with dynamic wide receivers like Metcalf and Pickens down the field. With his trolly bit, Boswell’s technically offering to solve the Steelers’ QB crisis since they don’t have a single QB on record for 2025 yet.

Surely, the NFL Super Bowl-winning QB who was on injured reserve for the first half of the 2024 season impressed many with his starting performances.
