The Titans aren’t just dipping their toes in the offseason—they’re cannonballing right in. First, they’ve got their eyes locked on Cam Ward, a potential top-draft pick who could shake things up under center. But wait, they’re not stopping there. Word is, they’re also hunting for a veteran QB in the free agency. Translation? The Titans are done playing it safe—they’re rewriting the playbook, and it looks like a total O-line shakeup is on the horizon. Buckle up, Nashville.

And if you’re thinking that the Titans are limited to the quarterbacks—think again. On Monday, the Titans agreed to terms with Mike Tomlin and the Steelers’ LT Dan Moore on a 4-year, $82M deal. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Titans are “agreeing to terms with #Steelers LT Dan Moore on a 4-year, $82M deal with $50M guaranteed and $30M in Year 1, sources say.”

Well, this deal brings a couple of news just a few hours after the free agency kicked off. For starters, the Titans signed Moore on a most lucrative contract for a left tackle in this free agency so far. On top of that, it won’t be wrong to say that the Tennessee team just locked in one of the top offensive tackles in the AFC division, that too on a four-year deal.

Mike Tomlin’s Steelers drafted Moore with a fourth-round, 128th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Since then, the 26-year-old offensive tackle has been with the Steelers. The guy played 66 games for the Pittsburgh team and never missed more than one game in a season. As for his last season in Pittsburgh, Moore appeared and started in every game. His performance?

Yeah, let’s just say he closed out his rookie deal with a season he’d probably rather forget. The 26-year-old allowed 12 sacks, placing him 141st out of 141 tackles in that category. Plus, he committed five penalties and allowed 41 total pressures. But surprise surprise. Despite that kind of performance, the guy clinched a lucrative deal with the Titans.

As for the Steelers… yeah, they’re still stuck in offseason limbo. I mean, they still haven’t locked in their QB1—talk about keeping the suspense alive.

Justin Fields set to leave Mike Tomlin’s Steelers?

On Monday, Dan Orlovsky stated that he doesn’t want Justin Fields to return to the Steelers. “If I’m Justin Fields. I respectfully, I’m not going back to the Steelers,” he said on Get Up. “I did everything you asked me to do when you had me as your starting quarterback and a little bit by default maybe because the injury in training came to Russell Wilson.” And guess what?

Justin Fields is officially out of the Steel City. Guess even Christopher Nolan would raise an eyebrow at this plot twist. After appearing in just one season, Fields gave a heroic start to the Steelers’ regular season, appeared in just 10 games, and now, he’s off to New York to play with the Jets. Yeah, you read that right. Fields is all set to replace Aaron Rodgers as the Jets’ QB1.

His contract terms? Well, you can just say that the Jets just clinched one of the best deals possible in this offseason. He signed a two-year deal for $40M with $30M in guaranteed money. Initially, it was reported that Pittsburgh wanted Fields to start the 2025 season. However, Fields reportedly wanted to explore the open market. Because let’s be real—the guy started the regular season with a 4-2 start before Russell Wilson took over.

Wilson wrapped up the regular season with four straight losses, and yet, the Steelers never gave Fields a shot. One of the reasons why Dan Orlovsky wanted him to play elsewhere. The result? Well, y’all know about that. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter for the QB considering he’s all set to start for the Jets in 2025.
