With the Dolphins signing Odell Beckham Jr just earlier this month, Miami created a trio of receivers like no other. After all, they already had Jaylen Waddle and the beloved Tyreek Hill on their roster. Now, nearly a month since the news of the new addition broke, it has been revealed that none of the wide receivers have made their way to the team’s off-season training program. Although fans might be getting a little nervous, it looks like the head coach has not broken a sweat.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), ESPN beat reporter Marcel Louis-Jacques, revealed that OBJ, Hill, and Waddle are yet to have a chance to practice on the field together. However, he stated that the Dolphins’ head coach, Mike McDaniels, “doesn’t sound particularly worried” that his wide receivers seem to be enjoying their time off. In fact, the writer also added that the coach’s lack of concern showed that he trusted his players and their individual processes.

Unlike his fellow receivers, Waddle chose to attend a few of the Miami Dolphins OTAs this year. In fact, he even made sure to be present on the first day of practice just a couple of days ago. Although Hill and Beckham have been missing in action, both the athletes seem to have their own reasons. With the former Ravens star having just freshly signed his contract, it may be awhile before fans get to see the trio out on the field.

The teammates have not tossed the pigskin around yet. However, there is no doubt that they will dominate the field when they take over later this year. After all, Hill already hyped up fans just shortly after OBJ was signed to the Dolphins.

At the beginning of May, the Dolphins signed Odell Beckham Jr in free agency. While some fans were on the fence about his addition, Tyreek Hill seemed overjoyed at the WR’s arrival to Miami. The receiver wound up taking to his social media to share a tweet with his fans and followers. The 30-year-old teased his fans by writing, “It’s about it get ugly in Miami.”

Hill may have been excited to have another receiver to lean back on during the major games. However, it looks like they have no plans of getting out on the field together anytime soon. Luckily for both athletes, they proved to have the stats that permit them to be slacking off during the off season.

Hill ended the last season with 119 catches for 1799 yards and 13 touchdowns in 16 games in the last season. Whereas Beckham proved his speedy days are not behind him. With two talented stars, the Dolphins are sure to have a better season this year. If they are lucky, Miami might not find itself up against the Chiefs once again.
