Just a day ago when the Bengals beat the Broncos, the Dolphins’ WR Tyreek Hill tweeted, “Let’s take care of business guys.” In their week 17 matchup against the Browns, they did exactly the same, defeating them 20-3. But the fans were in for a surprise, seeing Tyler Huntley leading the offense. HC Mike McDaniel opened up about the star QB situation.

It started in the week 15 game against the Texans when the signal caller suffered a hip injury. But the team gave him the green signal to play against 49ers in the week 16. He did, and they even won the game 29-17. But instead of any improvement, the injury got worse to the point that they had to bench him against the Browns. Talking about it, the coach said, “The hip, which he sustained in the Houston game was made worse against the 49ers. You come in and see that the injury’s a little worse. He absolutely wanted to play, it wasn’t a pain tolerance thing.

The Dolphins’ main QB wanted to play despite the pain, but the coach went ahead with his own decision. Fans were even worried that he might need surgery, but the injury was not that bad. For now, they are evaluating it on a day-to-day basis. The coach has no idea if Tua Tagovailoa will be in the next and final game of the season against the NY Jets or not.

For the franchise, this comes as a shocker. They need to win their last game against the Jets at any cost. And Aaron Rodgers would not give them a free pass. The fans are hoping he gets healthy in time. That’s extremely crucial.

Ahead of this season, the Phins roster looked strong. But the QB’s injuries derailed their campaign. After the concussion, this hip injury has forced him to miss a game.

When the signal caller injured his neck in the week 2 matchup against the Bills, he was put on IR. He missed 4 games and returned against the Cardinals in week 8. When asked if he thought about retiring, the QB said, “It never stuck in my mind that I was ever thinking of retiring. Whether the doctors told me that or not, it would have just been information for me.

However, the Dolphins lost 3 of 4 games in which Tua Tagovailoa didn’t play. That was the impact he had. If he had been there, the chances of them winning could have been higher. But now, the situation is clear. Win at any cost!

Tyreek Hill has already requested that his locker room to be united. For playoffs, they have to win against the Jets. Also, the equation would require the Broncos to lose against the Chiefs and the Bengals to lose against the Steelers. But the real question is, will all these things happen? We have to wait for one more week.
