The Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is having a sensational year both on and off the field. Having bagged yet another achievement that NFL fans and analysts couldn’t have predicted. Hill has secured the No.1 rank in the “NFL Top 100” list where players around the league vote for the best talent. In the last four seasons, this list was dominated by QBs. But this time around Hill has broken that streak by securing the No.1 spot for the first time as a wide receiver.

Although most fans had thought, Patrick Mahomes would be the undisputed No.1 player in the league. Hill had other ideas as his performances last season, might have helped him secure this title. On the back of this record-breaking achievement, the Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel was quick to express his views about Hill. Speaking to Chris Perkins, a Miami Dolphins columnist Mike said, “If you want to be great you need to do little things Tyreek does that more. He is a one-on-one  individual he never ceases to amaze and I think that it’s a really cool honor that has been well earned as he continues to develop his game each and every year.”

Talking about Hill’s improvement each year, the numbers are there for everyone to see. Having signed for the Dolphins back in 2022, Hill caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns. The Cheetah upgraded those performances next season by catching 119 passes with 1,799 receiving yards. And shared the number one spot with Mike Evans of the Buccaneers in 13 receiving TDs. Mike added, “And I think when your best player or the number one player in the top 100 pool for players it is team-oriented as your team gravitates to that and that’s a good thing for the Dolphins.”

When Tyreek made his decision to leave Patrick Mahomes and join the Dolphins after winning a Super Bowl together. Most fans thought it would be a downgrade. However, Hill has since proven his critics wrong by doing the unthinkable. To express his excitement, Tyreek took to his official X account and posted, “God Thank You.” Even Tyreek’s wife Keeta was quick to congratulate Hill’s achievement by commenting “So proud of you.” in an Instagram post.

However, this is not the only achievement that Tyreek Hill has secured before the start of the new season. As the Cheetah also entered the 99 rating Club prior to the release of EA Madden 25.

Compared to all the players, Hill is dominating with 99 speed and 98 runner stats in short, middle, and deep routes. Moreover, to congratulate him on this achievement, former two-time Super Bowl Champion QB Eli Manning said, “I wanna welcome you to Madden’s 99 club, first time.”

It was more special as Madden NFL 25 posted this video on their official X account. Expressing his happiness, Tyreek said, “Pretty awesome, Coming from the Goat himself.” Hill couldn’t hold on to his emotions by finding himself joining an exclusive club headed by Mahomes and Kelce. Nonetheless, he is not the only player who found themselves in the Club 99 this year.

Christian McCaffrey of the 49ers is also part of the 99 Club for the second time in his career. On the back of an offensive Player of the Year award while finishing third in MVP voting. His teammate OT Trent Williams is also there for the second season running. While the ever-present Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes make up the 99 Club thus far.

But can Hill’s personal accolades be enough for the Dolphins to break their longest NFL trophy drought? Or, is it just Tyreek’s luck shining while the team continues to fumble in season-defining matches?
