The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a win against the Commanders (34-26). They will try to keep this zest alive. Hence, coach Mike McCarthy is reading up on the game plan of his next rival, the New York Giants.

During a recent press conference, reporters asked head coach Mike McCarthy about rookie wideout Malik Nabers, who felt unhappy after the team’s 30-7 loss to the Buccaneers. After the game, Nabers said, “It was a soft effort,” expressing his frustration with his targets last week.

Now this has been read by Mike McCarthy, who said, “I think we have a clear understanding they’re going to try to get him the ball. And where he lines up is important, absolutely.” This came after Giants’s coach Brian Daboll said about Nabers: “He’s a very competitive individual. You want to get the ball in his hands and I’ve got to do a better job of getting the ball in his hands early.” So, that’s the game plan of the G Men this time.

Indeed, they didn’t target Malik Nabers until the first offensive play of the third quarter. And guess what? By that time, the Giants were already losing by a score of 23-0. In fact, Nabers hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 3, as well as in the last game, he caught six passes on nine targets for 64 yards. Now, Mike McCarthy read and analyzed all these. So, he will try to keep Nabers away from the ball.

This game is going to be interesting, and let’s see who wins this one. The Cowboys vs Giants are going to take place on Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 28 at 4:30 p.m. ET in Arlington, Texas. Until then, Mike McCarthy is preparing his team for the next victory, besides hoping for his contract extension.
