The Seahawks are finally getting back on the victory path. They dominantly won the week 12 game against Cardinals by 16-6. The game was intense, as both sides put everything to either score or stop the other side from scoring. Seahawks HC Mike Macdonald was watching everything from the sidelines. He is a happy man now. He wasn’t much during the game.

During the post-game presser, the question about Anthony Bradford’s injury status came up. The coach gave an update that many fans didn’t want to hear. He revealed that the right guard had injured his ankle and might sit out of the next game. But there’s not too much to worry about, as his ankle isn’t broken. Here’s what happened on the gridiron.

In the first quarter, he got injured on the 4th drive by Mike Macdonald’s team. The RB Kenneth Walker III made a 6-yard rushing drive. The medical team rushed to the field and checked his right ankle. They carted him to the blue tent. Later, he was declared ‘questionable to return‘ followed by ‘out‘ of the game. The obvious question in this scenario is who will replace the veteran player?

The HC gave the answer as well in the presser. Rookie Christian Haynes will replace Bradford. The 81st draft pick in the 2024 NFL Draft will be eagerly waiting to show his talent on the gridiron. But we will have to wait for the week 13 game against NY Jets if he plays. While injuries happen on the ground, their QB Geno Smith wanted to win the game under any circumstances.

He was all pumped up and excited after the victory. He even sent a message to his locker room. Here’s everything he said after winning.

Mike MacDonald’s team gets an inspiring message from their QB Geno Smith

Just keep fighting,” were those 3 words he told his locker room repeatedly while coming into the game. And the effect has been magical. With a 16-6 win, the Seahawks are on the top of the NFC West division. With 22 of 31 passes (71% completion rate) in 254 yards with a touchdown and an interception, he led them from the front.

While talking to Kristina Pink on the sidelines, Smith looked happy and said, “It was great. Just throughout the game, we kept our composure. Just really appreciate our defense and the way they played. Everyone did their job.” The signal-caller was proud of his locker room after the victory. Mike Macdonald was also joyed with the win.
