Now, Isabella Strahan carries a positive spirit for advocacy, stepping into the public not only as a survivor but as a role model as well. Conquering the battle with medulloblastoma, her recovery journey is quite inspiring. Amongst her latest projects, she has announced a new campaign with renowned fashion photographer Yana Kalina.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Isabella Strahan posted a series of pictures from her shoot. She captioned the post, “Recent with @yanakalina ✨✨.” It is a series of pictures featuring Strahan in a simple blue-washed denim pants, and a white tank top, in which she looks ethereal.
Indeed, Yana Kalina, a portrait and fashion photographer based in LA’s talent shines here capturing Isabella Strahan’s subtle beauty and positive essence. Starting photography at the age of 16, Kalina is known for blending classic film aesthetics with modern fashion trends. She has worked with high-profile clients including actors and models like Hailee Steinfeld, and more.

Since Isabella’s initial diagnosis in October 2023, to declaring herself cancer-free in mid-2024, she has developed a new-found spirit toward life. Living with cancer was difficult, as 4 cm tumor in her cerebellum impacted her movement and coordination. Her dad, Michael Strahan, was also evidently shocked upon the diagnosis, as he admitted feeling scared. But, he was there supporting her through the ups and downs.
Now, as she is on the road to recovery, Isabella is opening up to life. Her first decision was to be back at the University of Southern California, by August 2024, joining a sorority and enjoying normal time with her friends. Not only this, she is drawing attention to brain cancer recovery via her new awareness campaign. She launched her ABC documentary Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight to Beat Cancer special, which aired on February 5, 2025, on ABC. It gives a very raw and honest look into her journey.
Taking her recovery journey forward, her recent project with Yana Kalina is also a major part of it. And fans are showing immense love for the same.

Sophia Strahan, Isabella’s sister, was also a forerunner in the comments, making multiple comments. She wrote, “Ok Betty boop,” and “cute,” on her post, appreciating her sister.
