The wide receiver amassed 336 receptions, 3662 receiving yards, and 15 touchdowns in his four seasons with his draft team. The 2020 draft got franchise-tagged this month and eventually got a three-year contract worth a guaranteed sum of $71.5 million. With this generous security, the WR seems to be keen on starting his new season on a grateful note.

Pittman Jr. chose to express his thanks to his biggest support system with his new contract, and he didn’t hold back! The WR posted a picture of himself with his parents in front of two lavish brand-new cars on his Instagram. Pittman gifted a Porsche Panamera to his father and a Cadillac Escalade to his mother as a way of giving his thanks. he also wrote a message with the photograph, reading, “I’ve been dreaming about this moment ever since I started playing football. Pittman chose to show his love and gratefulness to his family with the fruits of his hard labor. The Cadillac Escalade drips with luxury, starting from a price of $81,895 while the Porsche Panamera lies in the range of $97,000 to $206,800.

Pittman’s father shared some posts of his own, flaunting his new gift and appreciating his son’s heartwarming gesture. Pittman gets his athletic genes from his father

Football talent runs in the Pittman clan. Michael Pittman Sr. was drafted as a running back in 1998 by the Arizona Cardinals and also won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay in 2002. It was this raw talent at home that festered the love for football in a young Pittman. He never realized the full length of his father’s prowess in the sport until he was a teenager.

“I always thought it was what I was going to do because to me football was normal,” Pittman Jr. said, as per ESPN. “I didn’t think my dad was special because he played in the NFL. It was just there since I was born. I didn’t really appreciate it until I got around 14 or 15, and then it sunk in that my dad really played in the league for 11 years.”

The Colts’ WR initially wanted to be a running back like his father but later switched position on his father’s advice. The decision certainly proved to be the right one, and the results are in front of us as Pittman Jr. progresses to his 5th season in the league.
