Ask the Cowboys fans – After all this time? And they’ll gonna say – Always! The Cowboys will always find a way to disappoint, no matter how bad it gets. Well, today’s highlights? The Eagles crushed the Cowboys with 41-7. What a way to end a year! And if we look at the combined number of both teams this season, it’s 75-13 in favor of the Eagles. And when that happens, all you can expect is pure rage and Michael Irvin is the perfect place to start.
It’s pretty straight and simple from Irvin. “I want to ask God to forgive the Dallas Cowboys for what they’ve done to all of us,” Irvin declared on his YouTube channel. “We got our a** whopping, TODAY!” Well, he’s not lying. And it would not be wrong to say that it’s the whole season’s story for the Dallas team.
Whether it is struggling O-line or injury concerns in the roster, nothing went well for Jerry Jones’ Cowboys. And it’s not the end here. The Cowboys became a part of an achievement. Well, not for their roster, of course. 2 passes for 167 yards, and the RB, Saquon Barkley, now racked up over 2,000 yards this season. But where did the Dallas team go wrong today?

For the starters, coming as the replacement for CeeDee Lamb, Jake Ferguson’s game was pretty much a replica of the Cowboys‘ season. Brutal. The tight end just managed to rack 18 yards on three carries. And how can we forget the fumble as well? As far as the QB is concerned, sure Cooper Rush entered the field with head high given the Cowboys’ last few wins. However, he only managed to rush for 147 yards. But here’s the kicker: that wasn’t the highlight of the game. The veteran QB threw two interceptions, including a pick-six in the first drive.
With one game remaining, what the Cowboys are expecting now? Of course, they’re not eying a playoff berth. Well, Mike McCarthy is straightforward for the season conclusion. “I’m here to finish the race,” the HC said for the season-ending game against the Commanders. Well, as it appears, it’ll be the end of a nightmare for the Cowboys fans. Speaking of the season-ending, let’s move over to the MVP race as Michael Irvin’s got his eyes on the star RB.

Michael Irvin thinks Barkley’s gonna get the MVP
There’s nothing new in the fact that when the regular season will conclude, besides the playoffs, the MVP will be the most debated topic. And here we are, at the end of the year, with many names on our list for the rightful contender. Who topped your list? Well, let’s spare it for some other day. Michael Irvin is all in for the Eagles‘ running back to win the MVP title. And can you blame him? The 27-year-old stacked over 2,000 yards, his first time in pro football.
“Sequon Barkley going over 2,000 against the Dallas Cowboys might might might very well steal him the MVP,” said Irvin after the RB achieved the mark. “Because you know I don’t care when the Cowboys record is that bad. We had all backup quarterbacks playing in the game, it’s still the Dallas Cowboys.” Hold on, Cowboys fans, just one more week, and you all will be relieved from this embarrassing season.

What’s your perspective on:
Can the Cowboys ever break free from their cycle of disappointment, or is it just who they are?
Have an interesting take?
As a matter of fact, Barkley has joined the elite list of MVP contenders. However, the Bills QB, Josh Allen, sits on the top as the rightful contender for the title. And for Barkley, well, let’s just say the guy needs to climb a bit higher. Carrying an average of 5.8 for over 2,000 yards, Barkley has racked up 13 TDs so far.
