There’s no denying the fact that Andy Reid is the main artist behind the art called the Kansas City Chiefs. Their mastermind head coach is crafting the next checkmate move. Now their ultimate goal is the 3-peat. And before the big game on Sunday, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have received another demand.

Even though the Super Bowl dream is over for the other teams, the road to leveling up the game is not over for the players. Everyone has taken their sides already. Just ask Cowboys‘ LB Micah Parsons about it. He didn’t chop up his words while putting his respect on the Chiefs. Plus, he made a huge demand. On Feb 5, during his appearance on Up and Adams, the host asked him which team he was rooting for. Micah confidently said, “Let’s go Chiefs! Okay, like I always say, coaching always beats talent. I’m not saying the Eagles aren’t a well-coached team, but it just so happens that the Chiefs win. They just find ways to win games, especially in close moments. Yeah, I want to see the three-peat.” Winning in the final moments has definitely been the highlight of the Chiefs this season.

Micah Parsons further expressed his views on the topic. “I think that’s pretty legendary. You don’t get to see that all the time. I miss Michael Jordan, you know what I mean? So, I need to—I would like to see this.” Well, he’s absolutely right about the Chiefs coming up strong in close games. It’s just their thing. Even in the last game against the Bills, they won by just 3 points. Their Super Bowl clash with the Eagles back in ‘23 was also a 3-point difference. What does that say? No matter how dominant the next team is, Patrick Mahomes and Co. find their way to victory.

These close-game victories Micah Parsons talked about are all thanks to Andy Reid and his vision. No matter how good the team is, if the coach knows his way around, you’re gonna be alright. Micah has seen enough football in his life—he was literally the Defensive Rookie of the Year back in ‘21. But he knows witnessing a 3-peat will be nothing short of a historic moment. Patrick Mahomes, with his clever ways to snatch yards, might just be able to crack the Eagles’ defense, and Micah will see what he’s been waiting for.

Patrick Mahomes and co. vs. the tush push challenge

There’s a fish in the throat for the Chiefs in this upcoming big dance. You’ve heard about the tush push, right? The brotherly shove? It’s when the team stands behind their QB and helps him push against the rival’s defense. Just ask Jalen Hurts—he loves it. But the play is often questioned, with some arguing it should be banned. Some teams have even pushed for the NFL to scrap it, claiming it gives the Eagles an unfair advantage.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni isn’t having it. “You don’t run the play unless you have the guys to run the play,” he said, crediting Jalen Hurts and the offensive line. Other teams have tried and failed to pull it off, proving it’s not just about the play—it’s about execution. “I guess I’m lobbying to never change that rule because we’re successful at it, but we’re successful at it because of the guys we have up front,” Sirianni added.

Even the Chiefs saw it firsthand when the Bills couldn’t make it work against them. Now, Patrick Mahomes and Co. will have to figure out how to stop it when the stakes are at their highest.
