You know what would be one heck of a story? It’s Tyreek Hill uniting with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Wait, weren’t people under the impression that he had committed to the Miami Dolphins for the better? They did restructure his contract and gave him a ton of new money, after all. Hill’s relations with KC seem like the one we all have with our exes. We kind of want to get back, but it might not be a good idea.

Benjamin Cure invited Josh Moser, a Miami-based sportscaster, and talked about a report that surfaced about a month back. The report states that the Kansas City Chiefs were the favorites to trade for the Cheetah. Cure wanted to know whether there’s still a chance that KC will unite with the Cheetah. There’s good news for nostalgia lovers.

The reason to suddenly start this conversation again is that everyone can see KC struggling right now. Xavier Worthy’s connection with Patrick Mahomes doesn’t generate much excitement. Sometimes he can’t catch deep passes and when he actually does, he’s somehow out of bounds. But let’s come back to what Josh Moser had to say about Tyreek Hill reconnecting with KC.

“There’s always a chance,” Moser said. “I don’t know what the compensation would be. I have not gotten a specific answer from Drew who represents Tyree kill. There’s always conversations about everyone and he seemed like he would be a good fit.” “Good fit?” No, it’s more like KC needs someone like Tyreek right now and there is more than one reason for it.

Rashee Rice’s situation is a bit iffy right now. On top of that KC has barely won their last two games against the Panthers and the Raiders. Not to mention their loss against the Buffalo Bills. If anything, KC needs a receiver like Tyreek Hill right now. The Dolphins are 5-7 right now and their playoff window can collapse at any given time.

Since Miami is paying Tyreek Hill a handsome amount of money, if they do decide to trade him next year, KC would have to pick up some amount of his salary. One of the reasons that Kansas let him go was that they didn’t want to pay him boatloads of money, supposedly. But him going to the Chiefs is just a wishy-washy thought right now. Hill was gunning for 2k yards last season, but this year, he’s struggling to secure a thousand. More importantly, he recently injured his wrist, which might prevent him from improving his numbers.

What’s your perspective on:

Could Tyreek Hill's return to the Chiefs reignite their Super Bowl dominance, or is it just wishful thinking?

What’s going on with Tyreek Hill right now?

Injuries currently plague the Miami Dolphins, with many players listed as questionable or on IR. The Cheetah was out of practice Wednesday due to a wrist injury. However, he returned Thursday to be a limited participant. He skipped a couple of practices this season but fortunately hasn’t missed a game. As per ESPN, he’s still listed as questionable. Some sources suggest that it’s a serious wrist injury that might require surgery at the end of the season. How is he even playing through this?

Apart from Hill, the team has listed starting LT Terron Armstead and RB Raheem Mostert as questionable. They also list RT Kendall Lamm and LG Isaiah Wynn as questionable. Meanwhile, WRs Braxton Berrios, Tahj Washington, Anthony Schwartz, and Grant Dubose are on IR right now. Things are also not looking good on the defensive side of things.

Benito Jones, Anthony Walker Jr, Kendall Fuller, and Kader Kohou are all listed as questionable. They had a snow game against the Packers last week, but this time, they’ll be home and will be hosting Aaron Rodgers and his Jets. The Dolphins cannot afford to lose this game.
