It is time for the NFL Postseason and we are ready for it!! One game especially that has everyone excited is Denver Broncos vs Buffalo Bills. Both teams have had different seasons, with the Broncos ending their 8 season playoff draught as they confirmed their place in the playoffs after defeating the mighty Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills, meanwhile, finished 2nd in the AFC table and have had a good season so far.

What happened during the season though, is over, and the playoffs are a different ball game altogether. The Bills might have won more games and finished higher on the table, but that doesn’t mean they can take the Broncos lightly. This is exactly what Maxx Crosby has warned Sean McDermott about and particularly talked about Bo Nix. Speaking on the LetsGo Podcast, he said, ” I think he’s done a hell of a job.” The Raiders defensive end talked about how tough Nix is while highlighting his on-field interactions with him and said, ” He’s got some balls to him.”

Nix has performed very well this season as he threw for 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 12 picks with a 66.3% completion percentage. For his rookie season, these are great stats, especially because Nix helped the Broncos reach the playoffs after so long. Crosby, though, didn’t just look at the numbers and was more impressed by Nix’s mental toughness and believes he is someone that McDermott should look out for.

Nix will certainly play a role in the game, but this season it has been Sean Payton who has silenced his critics. Before the start of the season, no one believed in the Broncos, but what a season it has been for Payton and his team. They started the season with a rookie quarterback, a not-so-solid defense, and very limited offensive options. What Payton and his handpicked staff did with the team, though, was incredible. A defense that was slated as shaky at the start of the season broke all kinds of records as they allowed only 18 points per game, 3.9 yards a carry, and a league-leading 63 sacks, more than even their epic 2015 defensive backfield.

The Bills might be touted by many as the favorites going into the game, but McDermott should pay heed to the warning and watch out for Sean Payton and Bo Nix.

Is Bo Nix the only player McDermott should worry about?

Can Bo Nix and the Broncos' defense outshine the Bills and pull off a playoff upset?

Have an interesting take?

The decision by the Broncos to pick Bo Nix as the 12th pick in the draft last year has certainly given them dividends. The rookie quarterback has really stepped up and after a slightly rough start, has picked up the pace. McDermott has clearly been warned about Nix, but is he the only threat to the Bills? Absolutely Not.

Courtland Sutton, and Patrick Surtain II, are among other players who can cause difficulties for the Bills. Sutton has been with the Broncos since 2018 and the WR has been a constant name in the lineup. Before this season began, though, there were questions asked about Sutton, and boy did he respond. Sutton ended the season with some amazing stats and had 81 receptions for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns.

It is not just about numbers for Sutton though, as the Broncos Wide Receiver has been waiting to play in the playoffs for 6 seasons now and now that he is there, he will definitely give his all to win.

The Broncos also have at their disposal one of the best cornerbacks in the league, in Surtain II. Bills will need to come up with some game plan to make sure Surtain II doesn’t have much say in the game. Surtain II was arguably the best defensive player in the league, as he finished the 2024 NFL Season with four interceptions, 11 passes defended, and 45 total tackles. The most insane stat, though, was how he allowed an opposing passer rating of just 55.6. Which is just amazing!!

The Bills might have had a great season, but many players in the Broncos team can seriously hurt them. McDermott can not give them any chances and will need a game plan if they want to win.
