Another week, another victory for the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes and his team were able to defend a low score with an outstanding defense. With pressure, the ball fumbled in the Raiders’ hands. And the Chiefs exploited that pivotal moment to win the game and stand tall. While everyone celebrated after the game, some individuals noted that Maxx Crosby only had one target the entire game. Any guesses who that might have been?

Well, of course, if you’re up against the best quarterback in the world, he’ll be your primary focus. The Raiders’ strategy for winning the game was to stop Patrick Mahomes at all costs.

When Mahomes handled the ball nearly 74 times during the game, only one man tackled him: Maxx Crosby. The DE was so determined, and when these numbers were released, the man had only one response. He claimed that he wanted to do “MORE.”

These were his words after a video showing him attempting to block Mahomes began circulating the internet. The man was attempting to hold Mahomes so that his throw would fail. The former initially attempted to grip Patrick’s ankle but only got the shoe. However, Crosby didn’t let go and worked until he got Mahomes‘ ankle. Due to this, the QB failed to execute the massive throw he had planned and instead went for a short one. While the tackle did not turn the game around, it did have a significant impact.

The Raiders‘ plan was epic, but the game did not come in their favor. This defensive maneuver helped them conserve some points, but they also needed to gain some. The squad was unable to accomplish it in the final few seconds because Aidan O’Connell fumbled the ball. But what does the quarterback have to say about it?

While Aidan O’Connell performed admirably throughout this game, the youngster struggled under pressure. Those who missed Connell during the last moments were set to make a crucial throw. However, on a third-down play, offensive lineman Jackson Powers-Johnson snapped the ball before the QB was prepared. This resulted in a total momentum shift, for which the QB blames himself.

While talking about facing the Chiefs, the QB stated, “It’s completely my fault I was looking down to the right to make sure guys were set and I started clapping too, in my head I was thinking to signal the ball but when I started clapping Jackson basically snapped the ball.”

After hearing these statements, one thing is clear: Aidan O’Connell possesses excellent leadership abilities. After all, it’s difficult to stand in front of everyone and accept the blame for a loss. But again, the man was under pressure, which is natural.
