Change of mind in just one day? Just a day ago, Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford, confessed that she was “tired” of seeing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romantic coverage in her The Morning After podcast. But now it seems the Rams quarterback’s wife is eating up her words.
Yes! On November 31, Halloween Day, Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly Stafford, along with their four kids, dressed up as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The couple chose a famous romantic date of the two—a U.S. Open date—and posted a carousel of pictures on Instagram.
Kelly wore “a red and white gingham sundress with a pair of sunglasses and the pop star’s signature red lip.” But that’s not all! She even copied “a similar blonde wig with side-swept bangs.” On the other hand, Matthew Stafford, who was dressed up as Kelce, appeared “in a cream-colored ensemble with a Gucci bucket hat.” He even added a mustache to his look similar to the Chiefs’ tight end, which actually began to eventually hang off.

Meanwhile, the children Sawyer, Chandler, Hunter and Tyler, all wore different sparkly outfits of Taylor Swift from her Eras Tour. Hence, showing off the beautiful pictures, Kelly wrote, “Six Swifties & a stubborn stache” in the caption. Well, that’s indeed a beautiful tribute to the 14-time Grammy winner.
However, let’s not forget that besides Matthew Stafford and his wife’s tribute, actress and talk show host, Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos also opted for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s this U.S. Open look as their Halloween outfits. So, it seems this year’s Halloween, many fans are going crazy about Swift and Kelce’s romance. It’s definitely Taylor Swift’s Halloween version, which Ripa & her husband, and Kelly & her husband nailed it.

Kelly Stafford recently opened up about feeling a bit jealous over the intense media focus on Taylor Swift and Chiefs TE Travis Kelce’s relationship in the NFL. On The Morning After podcast on October 31, she explained that her earlier comment about not wanting another four months of Swift–Kelce coverage wasn’t about disliking Tay-Tay but rather feeling that the NFL’s focus was shifting away from the players’ hard work.
Stafford mentioned it felt like the games were becoming secondary to the relationship’s coverage. She admitted these feelings of jealousy partly came from watching her husband, Matthew Stafford, and other players put in so much effort, only for the spotlight to shift elsewhere. So, is it Taylor Swift’s fault? Well, Kelly admitted it’s not. She emphasized that it wasn’t Swift’s fault. She just didn’t expect NFL games to feel overshadowed.
But that doesn’t mean Stafford and her family aren’t fans of the singer. The Rams QB’s wife mentioned that they are actually fans of Swift’s music, noting how she even took her young daughters to see Swift’s Eras Tour, which was an unforgettable experience.
