After feeling like they were going to drown shortly, the Chiefs have finally secured a talented wide receiver. DeAndre Hopkins has joined their squad, and the enthusiasm level is off the charts. The entire roaster was waiting for a moment like this. Now Hopkins only needs to coordinate with the brilliant quarterback Patrick Mahomes. If this occurs, the Chiefs are back on pace, and everything appears to be going well up to this point.
As you may have heard, Matt Nagy, the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator, is pleased with the deal. Nagy understands the value of a solid wide receiver and the team’s success with them this season. DeAndre Hopkins stepping in to make a save when the team most needed it is a godsend. Nagy says that the WR has extensive experience and, with preparation, can be their trump card, afterall Hopkins “has the least amount of drops in the history of the NFL.” The WR, per his stats, has a minimal 4% chance of dropping a ball! And right now, he is doing the finest thing possible: connecting with the rest of the squad.
Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy said what he likes most about DeAndre Hopkins are his hands and how well he catches the ball. Said Hopkins “has the least amount of drops in the history of the NFL.”
