Green Bay Packers achieved their 10th win of the 2024 season by defeating Seattle Seahawks in the week 15 game. They dominated the game from the first quarter itself 14-0 when it ended. The scores were 20-3 in their favor. Seahawks tried their best to make a comeback but failed as the visitors won 30-13. However, fans weren’t happy with HC Matt LaFleur.

Fans pointed out his faulty play calling that could have jeopardized the game. And he accepted his mistakes at the post-game conference. Talking about his mismanagement, the coach said, “Lousy play calling by me. I totally mismanaged the end of the half. That was 100% on me, just being too indecisive, putting it on Jorda, giving him a call that took far too long. So that is something that can’t happen and that can cost us if it were a tighter game, so that one is on me.” He’s right as they won the matchup.

Fans trolled the head coach for his poor clock management, particularly in the first half. Though they possessed the ball for 10 minutes 32 seconds in the 1st quarter, compared to the Seahawks’ 4 minutes 30 seconds. The scenario flipped 180° in the 2nd quarter as they only had the ball for 6 minutes 32 seconds compared to the Seahawks’ 8 minutes 28 seconds. There were other faults, too.

Many fans complained about their 4th downplays as the passing game was nowhere to be seen. Even with 2 minutes left on the clock in the 4th quarter, Jordan Love made a 17-yard pass to WR Christian Watson. The receiver got injured during that play. However, the fans are still happy that the team won.

It was a show of support for the Green and the Gold at the Lumen Field that surprised everyone. The loud voice from the stands made the players go all in. It was great.

Lumen Field is only behind Arrowhead in the list of the loudest football stadiums. The Packers’ fans just took it to another level, chanting “Go Pack Go” while the Pack defense was on the field. The quarterback was clearly surprised. While talking to NBC’s Melissa Stark on the sidelines after the game, he said, “That’s big time, you know. The Packer fans show out to every away game. You know, we heard all week, I’ve never played here, that it’s going to be loud. It was a loud environment, but the Packer fans showed out today.” That’s right. The support was unreal.

Even Matt LaFleur acknowledged the love and support in the post-game conference. Not only the players and the fans, but even Samford University’s research concluded that the Packs are the best fanbase in the nation. The team did the poll on three factors – total number of fans, attendance, and merchandise purchased.

According to the total fans, they ranked 3rd while the Cowboys had the biggest fanbase. But their fans attended most games, around 10 million in the last 4 years (2020-2023). While the Cowboys topped the list of merch purchased, the Packer fans came 3rd in that as well. And we saw it today as well. It was excitement at its peak.
