Did Mark Wahlberg just disrespect Tom Brady, or is he being brutally honest about the GOAT?

Mark Wahlberg and Tom Brady, two of Boston’s most iconic figures, have had a longstanding bond. Of course, he had no clue what was coming up next, but he did know that Tom Brady was one of the athletes who would be thrown at him. So he rated with Brady in mind, but he did not give him the top ranking to the NFL legend despite their friendship. This surprised the fans because Wahlberg believed Bill Russell was the greatest athlete Boston had ever produced.

Following Bill Russell, Mark Wahlberg ranked Tom Brady second, Bobby Orr third, David Ortiz fourth, and Larry Bird fifth. It is now believed that Wahlberg picked Russell as his number one selection. Wahlberg judged him to be the finest Boston-produced athlete of all time.
