According to Schlereth, he is confident in the team’s roster, their run game with Breece Hall, the receiving corps, and Aaron Rodgers as quarterback. The sportscaster also praised the improvements in the Jets’ offensive line and the way they operate on the defensive side of the ball. Additionally, he believes their defensive players are strong enough to help them secure the division if Rodgers remains healthy.

The Jets are starting their 2024 preseason in Week 1 against the Commanders at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, August 10th. Exactly one month later, they will kick off against the 49ers in a Monday Night Football game. However, his latest mandatory camp absence has created a buzz among NFL fans with many believing Rodgers isn’t serious about the season. Apart from this, those who believe in him, speculate that A-Rod could have an impressive season, “potentially achieving 4,200 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and just 7 interceptions.” They believe that although he might not have the same capability, his football IQ still remains high.
