Did the Packers make a huge mistake by not starting Malik Willis over Jordan Love?

The Packers vs Vikings game is on and we don’t know how to keep ourselves glued to our seats! No, the game isn’t boring—it’s just become so one-sided that even our delusional relationship seems more interesting in comparison! With disappointment, the Cheeseheads are blaming Jordan Love for the probable loss!

Jordan Love returned to the gridiron after two weeks, but fans don’t seem so happy about it. On Sunday, the QB started the game against the Vikings, but fans chanted they wanted Malik Willis back! A fan named Brandon Warne took to his X account to share his dissatisfaction with Jordan Love starting the Packers vs Vikings game. “Malik Willis should have started this game.”

Not only Brandon but other fans also feel that Willis is a better quarterback for this season. They believe the injury has affected Love’s mobility and his overall performance. Another fan replied to Warne’s X post and wrote, “Keeping Love in the game at this point is playing with fire.”

While the starting quarterback failed to perform as expected, a fan posted on X, “No chance Jordan Love is fully fit. He’s been dire.” And there is a chance that the fans might be right! The QB is not quarterbacking the way he used and we surely have proof of it!

Jordan Packers is playing a nightmare game

Jordan Love could complete a total of twelve passes out of twenty-four attempts for 118 yards, and we know that’s not how the 2020 first-round draft used to play. And that’s not all! He did manage to toss a touchdown pass, but at what cost?

Have an interesting take?

He threw two interceptions that really set back any momentum the Packers tried to build. By halftime, they are already trailing 28-7, making it a rough day not just for Love, but the entire Packers offense.

Love’s return was quite awaited, but it didn’t go quite as planned. During the start of the game, he had some success, completing four out of six passes for 34 yards in the first quarter. But then he just started dropping the ball and the score! Eventually, the Packers were just left playing catch-up.

While the Packers are off their game, they are definitely not loving losing the game to the Vikings. And guess what? The Vikings’ defense is giving Love no breathing room. And if you are a Cheesehead, grab your tissue box a little closer!

With Love playing like a deer in headlights, the penalties aren’t also giving the Packers a break. Well, seven penalties for 58 yards—felt like an uphill battle from the start. And let’s just agree that the Packers are hitting a low point in their scoring this season.

Moreover, Love’s performance, while brave, is just making the scores even worse. But let’s not forget that every player has some bad days, and it doesn’t make them a bad player. Love has given his team a lot and we wait for his stronger comeback!
