Looks like the Giants are keeping an eye out on the NFL Combine. After all, it is the best event for evaluating CFB players and identifying the next big weapon. And it seems like that the WR Malik Nabers has someone who has the potential to become a generational talent. Not only was the Giants wide receiver thrilled with this youthful talent; he even praised him on Instagram.

The man in question is none other than Mason Taylor of the LSU Tigers. The 20-year-old appears to be one of the best players to have stepped in the NFL Combine. There were numerous TEs ranked higher than him, but after the drill, everything changed. Taylor’s position has risen substantially, and there are rumors that he will be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft. His drill was so great that Malik Nabers mentioned it on his Instagram story.

The Giants WR reposted a reel of Mason Taylor’s drill and captioned: “Been saying he was like dat!!!!” But what exactly was the best part of his drill? Well, for instance, Taylor was buttery smooth on the field, and the TE made no mistakes. Taylor caught all of his passes, and he did so with relative ease due to his position on the line. Not only that, but the TE accelerated so quickly that he nearly reached 26 MPH in the middle of the drill.WOAH! These are some noteworthy skills given he is just 20 years old.

Mason Taylor’s drill pleased many ESPN reporters, including Matt Miller, who took on X to recognize the budding prodigy: “Mason Taylor is clearly in a different tier than the other tight ends working out.” Other TEs with higher Combine rankings than Taylor, such as Harold Fannin Jr., Gunnar Helm, and Terrance Ferguson, performed admirably as well. But none came close to the Tigers’ superstar.

Malik Nabers’ comments on Mason Taylor also provide a significant potential tease for the NFL Draft. Many people may have overlooked the fact that Nabers and Taylor are former LSU Tigers teammates. And perhaps they can have a reunion in the New York Giants. Really? Maybe, as the team is looking for a great tight end. And we know that Nabers can push for Taylor inside. But for the time being, the Giants’ major aim is to find a solid QB. And they may have one individual in mind for this position.

Are there any chances for Malik Nabers and Aaron Rodgers ending up together?

The Giants are on their way to make major changes in their roster. The team is looking for different things at the moment, one of which could be taking the top overall spot in the NFL Draft. They can do this to go all in for a great QB. Dianna Russini has reported that the Giants are a “team to watch on multiple fronts as they try to find an answer under center.” But would getting a rookie quarterback help their problems? Well, definitely not. Everyone understands that a team must have both a brilliant rookie and a veteran QB.

In this way, the veteran player can assist the younger QB in learning new tricks and tips. And the NY already has a name for this position. The Giants’ seasoned quarterback may be none other than Aaron Rodgers. There had been rumors that the squad would pursue Matthew Stafford, but the 37-year-old has now entered into negotiations with the Rams. This means that the Giants’ plans have taken a quick, dramatic turn. And their next probable aim will be to bring A-Rod on board, possibly as a backup quarterback for the rookie QB.
