Matthew Stafford may not be well anytime soon, raising concerns for the Rams. Stafford suffered an injury in his right thumb and is likely to sit out for a couple of weeks. He suffered the injury in the game against the Cowboys when he landed on his right thumb while catching a pass.
He was taken off the field immediately and replaced by Brett Rypien. As if this was not enough, the Rams were also handed an embarrassing defeat, 43-20, by the Cowboys. Now, the main issue of concern for the Rams is to get their hands on a backup QB; however, time is not on their side. They have to trade pretty fast as the options are dwindling.

Tough decisions ahead for the Rams
The Rams are going with Winn, but what will be the way forward when Stafford gets back from his injury — who will they sit out, then? They have to resolve their impending issues on and off the field and get back to the winning ways soon.
This week, the Rams take on the Packers. In the seven games they have played, the Packers have only managed to record two victories. Additionally, they are at the bottom of the league after dropping their past four games in a row. However, you shouldn’t completely rule out the chance of a return. The game will begin at Lambeau Field Stadium at 4:00 p.m. ET.
