The week 9 NFC battle of the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions is about to begin on Sunday. On one hand, the Wisconsin team of Jordan Love is coming with 6 wins and 2 losses, on the other hand, Detroit is coming with 6 wins and 1 loss. As both the teams are arguably considered similar in power, fans should prepare for a battle in terms of weather as well.
According to the NFL, the Sunday game is going to experience true fall weather and possible precipitation, as rain showers are expected at that time. The game, which is about to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field, will have cloudy weather with 30 mph gusts of wind.
The event’s weather forecast also predicts southeast wind from 8 to 14 mph, as well as temperatures ranging from 53 degrees Fahrenheit in the start to 51 degrees Fahrenheit by the end of the fourth quarter. In addition to that, there is a chance of humidity as well, with 77 to 89 percent and about 96 percent cloud cover.

So, all in all, according to the National Weather Service Green Bay, there is a “90% chance of showers, mainly after 7 a.m. Sunday.” And making it worse, at night, there is a 100% chance, which means a definite rain shower during the game. The NFL’s official weather report too has highlighted the fact that there is a 100% chance of precipitation.

Earlier, these NFC divisional teams have met each other for 189 times, where the Packers has an upper hand by winning 106 games. Hence, this time, the Detroit team will try to win over the Packers, and all eyes will be on Jared Goff, Gibbs, and Amon-Ra St. Brown among others this weekend. In addition to that, fans would also wait for Jordan Love to come in the game, especially after his injury scene.
